About

China Agricultural University (CAU) is a key university directly subordinated to the Ministry of Education of P.R. China, enlisted in the national “211 and 985 Projects” of higher education in China. CAU has been selected as “First-class” university in 2017. Since 2021 CAU and its nine subjects including Biology, Agricultural Engineering, Food Science and Engineering, Crop Science, Agricultural Resources and Environment, Plant Protection, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, and Grass Science has been included into the second stage of “First-class” Universities and Disciplines. CAU has a total of 18 colleges, 1 entity teaching unit and 1 directly affiliated department, covering 7 major disciplines: Agriculture, Engineering, Science, Economics, Management, Law, and Literature. CAU offers 80 undergraduate programs, 49 master degree programs and 27 PhD degree programs.
