Inner Mongolia University, located in Hohhot, is a university jointly built by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is a world-class discipline construction university, a key construction university of the "211 Project", a supporting university for the construction of a first-class university in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and a national key construction university of "one province, one university" in the central and western regions.
