Southwest University is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly built by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Chongqing Municipality. It is one of the first batch of "double first-class" universities in China, and one of the first batch of "211 Project" and "985 Project Innovation Platform for Superior Disciplines" universities. The main body of the school is located in Beibei District, Chongqing. It is a famous garden school and a civilized campus recognized by the Ministry of Education.
