Jiangsu College of Nursing is located in Huai’an, a historic city in Jiangsu Province known for its rich cultural heritage and profound medical traditions. The college was originally founded in 1958 as Huaiyin Medical School, but its history can be traced back to the Nursing School of Huaiyin Love and Mercy Hospital, established in 1915. In December 2014, with approval from the Jiangsu Provincial Government, it was restructured as Jiangsu College of Nursing, a full-time public institution under the administration of the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission. The college spans two campuses (Huanghe Road Campus and Keji Road Campus) covering over 500 mu (approximately 33 hectares). It currently enrolls more than 8,700 full-time students and has over 400 full-time faculty members. As a specialized institution focusing on medical and healthcare education, the college comprises seven teaching departments and offers 23 majors: -School of Nursing and Midwifery -School of Rehabilitation -School of Traditional Chinese Medicine -School of Medical Technology -Department of Basic Medical Sciences -Department of Public Basic Sciences -Department of Physical Education Over the past six decades, Jiangsu College of Nursing has trained more than 90,000 high-quality, multi-skilled, and application-oriented professionals in the medical and health sectors.
