Xuzhou Medical University (XZMU) is a well-known higher education institution in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. It is under the direct administration of the Jiangsu Provincial Government. Founded in 1958, XZMU has become a prominent hub for medical education, services, and research in the region. The university has three campuses and 36 affiliated hospitals and clinical schools. With approximately 17,000 students and 1,400 teachers, XZMU offers a wide range of undergraduate programs, including Clinical Medicine, Nursing, and various medical disciplines. It also provides education for international students. XZMU has consistently ranked among the top medical colleges and universities in China since 2001. In 2013, it was granted the authority to award doctoral degrees.
