Beibu Gulf University, located in Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a full-time ordinary university focusing on engineering, science and management. It is a university jointly built by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the State Oceanic Administration, a project unit of "application-oriented undergraduate university" planned by the State for the 13th Five Year Plan, and a base institution of the "innovation experiment project of integration of production and education" of the School Planning, Construction and Development Center of the Ministry of Education The pilot universities for the overall transformation and development of newly-built undergraduate universities in Guangxi, the first batch of governing universities of the National Alliance of Applied Technology Universities, and the campus of the university is a 3A scenic spot.
