Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering is the engineering science that regulates and controls hydropower resources with engineering or non-engineering measures based on the study of the natural characteristics of the water. This program focuses on training high-level engineering and technical personnel who can be engaged in large and medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower and buildings (including the dam, powerhouse of hydropower station, the gate and into the water, diversion and discharge buildings), and industrial water construction planning, design, construction, management and scientific research of, learning and research directions include hydrological water resources, water environment, hydraulic structure, hydraulic and fluid dynamics, engineering, management and, the development trend is the intercrossing and syncretizing with the emerging information technology, reliability theory, management science, and other disciplines.
