Ecology is a concept defined by German biologist Ernst Heikker in 1866: Ecology is a science that studies the relationship between organisms and their surroundings (including abiotic and biological environments). It has developed into "the science of studying the relationship between living things and their environment". A relatively complete and independent discipline with its own research objects, tasks and methods. Their research methods go through three processes: description, experiment and substance quantification. The introduction of the concepts and methods of systematology, cybernetics and information theory has promoted the development of ecological theory
